Airwallex’s Yield treasury solution now extends to the US market.

Airwallex has recently introduced its Yield treasury service in the United States, providing businesses with access to a JPMorgan Asset Management money market fund.

Following this expansion, Airwallex has extended its Yield treasury solution into the U.S., allowing companies to benefit from a highly rated money market fund managed by JP Morgan Asset Management and earn returns on their idle USD balances without facing any lock-up periods.

The new service enables customers to transfer funds from their Airwallex cash accounts directly into the JPMorgan US Government Money Market Fund. This feature was introduced after a beta test that commenced in January 2026, with typically two business hours required for fund settlement and no minimum holding periods.

Exceeding USD 1 Billion in Global Assets

Airwallex announced that the Yield product was initially launched in Australia around two years ago and has since expanded to other regions. The service recently reached a significant milestone of over USD 1 billion in global assets under administration, a figure attributed primarily to demand from small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with annual revenues below USD 10 million.

The usage data suggests that customers tend to maintain continuous allocations rather than making strategic adjustments. The majority of funds are held in USD, reflecting businesses’ efforts to manage exposure to local currency fluctuations and broader macroeconomic uncertainties.

Unified Treasury Solution

A distinctive feature of the U.S. offering is its seamless integration with Airwallex’s overall platform. Users can easily move funds between various components, including payments, payouts, corporate cards, and Yield accounts from a single dashboard without needing to perform external transactions or use separate banking interfaces.

This approach positions the Yield service not as an independent investment tool but as an integral part of Airwallex’s comprehensive financial operations environment that covers foreign exchange, account payable management, and expense handling. For small businesses in particular, the quick settlement times allow for strategic use of funds—moving money into yield-generating positions just before payroll or supplier payments without requiring pre-arranged planning.

The U.S. launch is part of Airwallex’s broader strategy to offer institutional-level treasury services alongside their core payment infrastructure as an alternative to traditional business banking solutions. The service is now available to all US-based Airwallex account holders through their existing accounts.
