Strategic Imperatives, an organization based in the UK, has extended its collaboration with GoCardless to include GoCardless’ Outbound Payments feature within Elevate IQ. This platform offers cloud-native billing and revenue management solutions for telecommunications and connectivity providers.

This integration makes the new capability accessible to all service providers utilizing the platform.

The combined offering now encompasses both inbound and outbound payment functions, covering the complete account-to-account transaction lifecycle from mandate setup through disbursement. It replaces traditional banking portals and manual file uploads with automated payouts via the Faster Payments network, thus cutting refund times down to minutes compared to the standard three to five business days.

Integrating GoCardless Features

The integration also includes GoCardless’ Success+ feature, designed for automated retries of failed payment collections. By consolidating inbound collection management with outbound disbursement within a single platform, the aim is to minimize manual handling of bank details and decrease administrative overhead related to refunds.

According to GoCardless research referenced in the announcement, 82% of businesses prioritize consolidating payment functions and eliminating separate storage for bank details, findings that both companies say guided this integration’s design.
