Worldpay has extended its Worldpay for Platforms service to Canada and the United Kingdom, enhancing its market presence in Australia.

As financial services demand grows, with 90% of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) highlighting that access to financial services within their software platforms is crucial for growth, according to Worldpay’s research.

Facilitating Software Platform Integration

The new service allows software providers to integrate secure and scalable payment experiences into their platforms, benefiting from Worldpay’s global payments expertise and personalized relationship management. Worldpay for Platforms aims to simplify complex financial services, helping developers create seamless payment solutions that enable automated reconciliation and a single point of support for merchants.

The fully managed service reduces risk, simplifies compliance, and enables platform providers to concentrate on their core operations. It facilitates easier payment integration and provides a central hub for customer transactions with enhanced business management tools. Featuring a modern API architecture, Worldpay for Platforms supports credit and debit card payments, direct debits, digital wallets, and other payment methods.

CampLife, a Canadian company, has already adopted this solution, customizing its payment experience within its software offering to drive more value for its clients through a simple end-to-end solution. Worldpay representatives noted that vertical software providers can unlock new revenue streams, increase customer retention, and boost loyalty by leveraging the new solution. Expanding into new markets, the company intends to help partners and customers offer greater value, develop additional services, and distinguish themselves in the market.
