Vivid customers can now conveniently top up their Vivid accounts during purchases at various retail locations such as supermarkets, drugstores, hardware stores, and gas stations. Participating shops include Rewe, Penny, dm, Rossman, mobilcom-debitel, toom, Dr. Eckert, OMV gas stations, Budni, and Q1 gas stations. A barcode is generated on the user’s smartphone which will be scanned at these participating cash registers for payment via cash.

Using the top-up function in the Vivid app as usual, customers can now add their desired deposit amount by selecting cash as an option alongside existing methods such as Mastercard and Visa, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Open Banking. There is no minimum purchase requirement for this transaction.

The deposited funds will appear in the Vivid account within a few minutes and can be utilized immediately by the user. A service fee of 2.5% applies to each top-up amount. For Vivid Prime users, deposits up to EUR 200 per month are free. After this limit, a charge of 1.5% on deposited money is applicable. Each deposit must be at least EUR 50 and the maximum single deposit within 24 hours is EUR 999.99.
