Verifone has enhanced its partnership with Deluxe to broaden the integration of Verifone’s Victa devices into Deluxe Payments Platform.

This initiative is designed to simplify in-store payment procedures for software providers and large merchants who rely on Deluxe’s services.

Enhanced Hardware Integration for Better Security

Through the new agreement, Deluxe and its independent software vendors (ISVs) can now incorporate Verifone’s latest hardware into their product offerings. This expansion aims to facilitate quicker market entry and smooth device installation.

The Victa device lineup is engineered for diverse in-store payment settings, such as mobile, countertop, and biometric-enabled checkouts. These devices are compatible with existing point-of-sale systems and feature palm and facial recognition, SoftPOS, and peripheral expansion options like payment pucks.

Verifone reports that its Victa products adhere to current PCI PTS 6.x security standards and are being developed for future compliance under PCI 7.x. Anti-skimming measures at a remote level are included to mitigate fraud risk. Additionally, the hardware line has been designed with environmental concerns in mind. By 2026, Verifone intends for 60% of the plastics used in Victa devices to be recycled, and single-use plastics have already been removed from packaging.

Verifone officials mentioned that their ongoing collaboration with Deluxe simplifies the pathway for software developers to implement secure, scalable payment features. According to Verifone representatives, this alignment enables providers to launch solutions without major modifications to existing infrastructure.

Deluxe’s officials highlighted that integrating the Victa device family into their platform supports faster onboarding and device activation. They noted that this effort is aimed at enhancing in-store payment reliability across their merchant network. The improved partnership is expected to benefit software and solution developers by increasing access to certified hardware and creating efficiencies within the overall in-store payments ecosystem.
