U.S. Bank has introduced a new developer portal experience to support its partner financial institutions (FIs) in providing flexible embedded financing options to their customers.

The newly launched Avvance programme is designed for partnerships and allows FIs to integrate point-of-sale financing directly into their platforms through API-powered integration options. These methods include low code to full headless integrations, enabling partners to personalise the experience based on individual business needs.

The U.S. Bank Developer Portal, featuring more than 40 financial APIs for consumer, business, and corporate requirements, now includes these capabilities with Avvance.

U.S. Bank Avvance’s Offerings

According to U.S. Bank officials, Avvance aims to support partners in expanding their businesses by providing a bank-built point-of-sale financing solution that can be customised. This allows merchants to offer loans ranging from USD 300 to USD 25,000 with terms varying from three months to 60 months.

  • Utilise U.S. Bank’s brand and comprehensive infrastructure, including merchant relationships, online banking, disputes, and reporting;
  • Design financing based on needs with modular APIs and try-before-you-buy options;
  • Collaborate with solution engineers and strategic advisors focused on implementation optimisation.

LendPro, a consumer finance platform for retailers, is among the first integrated partners to utilise this feature. This aligns with LendPro’s commitment to offering simplified embedded financing experiences for merchants and consumers.

Furthermore, Avvance helps in scaling flexibility by providing access to a dedicated merchant portal that includes all platform functionalities such as marketing materials, invoicing, pricing management, and transaction tracking. Consumer loan applications are managed by U.S. Bank.
