TransferMate has fully implemented Vivox AI’s explainable artificial intelligence agents into its global KYB automation platform.
This deployment marks a significant move, as TransferMate replaced manual compliance processes with an AI-driven onboarding and due diligence system using the Explainable AI technology provided by Vivox AI for its Know Your Business (KYB) operations.
The implementation is closely tied to TransferMate’s international expansion, especially in Asia Pacific and other regions, where increasing volumes of onboarding cases necessitated a scalable compliance framework that could maintain the thoroughness of due diligence procedures without scaling up human resources.
Functionalities and Technical Structure
The official press release highlights Vivox AI’s platform as capable of analyzing up to 100 complex corporate documents per case. Its functionalities include identifying ultimate beneficial owners, shareholders, directors, sanctions screening, politically exposed persons (PEP), and adverse media checks. It can produce comprehensive customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reports.
The platform utilizes an ensemble of over 35 AI models and integrates more than 24 verification APIs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and auditability across the KYB review process.
An autonomous learning AI agent operates within Vivox AI’s governance framework. Senior analysts provide feedback during live production, leading to a quality approval rate increase from about 60% to around 80% over the initial two weeks of deployment. This enhancement demonstrates significant performance gains through human-in-the-loop operations.
Governance Framework, Regulatory Alignment, and Independent Assurance
Vivox AI has designed governance modules that align with TransferMate’s internal policies and procedures. The system evaluates and monitors the AI agents against criteria covering risk management, quality assurance, explainability, and human oversight.
TransferMate’s official stated that this deployment speeds up onboarding processes while preserving the depth and auditability of each review. Additionally, the governance framework enables TransferMate to meet regulatory scrutiny effectively during inspections.
Representatives from Vivox AI also emphasized that the setup aligns with evolving regulatory standards, including those set by the EU AI Act, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), and Singaporean regulators.
The launch is supported by independent AI assurance measures to ensure safety, governance, and regulatory compliance. This step positions TransferMate’s deployment within the broader trend of financial institutions seeking third-party validation for their AI systems in compliance roles.
This implementation reflects a broader industry shift towards auditable AI solutions that support operational growth while enhancing governance. It is particularly relevant for payments infrastructure providers operating across multiple jurisdictions, as it allows them to maintain consistent compliance at scale without proportionately increasing staffing levels.
