TerraPay has announced a new partnership with MilX to facilitate global payments for content creators and the broader gig economy.
This strategic move is intended to bolster TerraPay’s mission of enabling borderless financial transactions for emerging digital communities worldwide.
The collaboration will provide creators with faster and more secure access to their earnings, while assisting platforms in expanding globally. With the creator payment solutions market projected to expand from $4.5 billion in 2024 to $18.5 billion by 2033, this partnership is anticipated to place TerraPay and Air Media Tech at the forefront of the evolving creator economy.
Enhancing borderless payouts for creators
The creator economy is currently thriving, valued at $253 billion in 2025 and projected to exceed $2 trillion by 2035, with a compound annual growth rate of 23.3%. However, platforms face increasing challenges in delivering fast, compliant, and cost-effective cross-border payments. To address these issues, TerraPay’s partnership with MilX aims to provide creators with immediate access to their earnings in local currencies across more than 70 markets via bank accounts, wallets, or cards.
