Revolut has teamed up with Pepita, a Hungary-based company, to offer one-click payments and its comprehensive suite of payment acceptance solutions on the marketplace platform.
This collaboration aims to extend Revolut’s acquiring presence into Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), an area where both companies have been expanding their operations.
Through this agreement, Pepita will incorporate Revolut Pay alongside traditional credit card payments and digital wallets. This move positions Revolut as a key payment provider on the platform. Revolut Pay simplifies transactions by allowing shoppers to complete purchases without re-entering payment details, with authentication through the Revolut app via passcode or biometric verification.
Loyalty Programs and New Customer Incentives
The partnership includes promotional features linked to Revolut’s RevPoints loyalty scheme. Customers using Revolut Pay on Pepita will receive double RevPoints for their purchases, with a fivefold bonus available during the first month after launch.
RevPoints is described as the first pan-European debit card loyalty program of its kind, allowing users to redeem points for discounts on future Revolut Pay transactions or for rewards such as travel, shopping, gift cards, and more within the Revolut app.
New Revolut account holders who sign up through Pepita are eligible for a credit of up to EUR 20 to their account, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Performance Metrics and Platform Scale
The partnership comes at a time when Revolut Pay has seen significant growth. According to the company, 4.8 million customers worldwide utilized Revolut Pay in 2025, marking a fourfold increase from 2024. Merchants using this service report cart abandonment rates below 10% and an average authorization rate of 98.5%. Additionally, Revolut Pay supports more than 30 currencies with settlements to merchants within 24 hours at what the company claims are low fees.
Founded in Hungary in 2017, Pepita has grown into one of the leading digital marketplaces in CEE, serving millions of customers across various markets. The platform’s ongoing expansion aligns with Revolut’s broader strategy to expand its payment acceptance business beyond Western Europe.
A spokesperson from Revolut commented that this partnership is designed to meet customer expectations for speed, security, and value at checkout while helping merchants enhance their conversion rates and reduce processing costs. A representative from Pepita also highlighted the fintech’s growth in key CEE markets as a factor behind choosing Revolut as its payments partner.
