The digital banking platform Plumery has partnered with Lokalise to integrate localization capabilities directly into their banking experiences.

With this partnership, financial institutions can incorporate translation and market adaptation, thereby enhancing the localized user experience. This scaling of accessibility, engagement, compliance, and customer satisfaction is expected.

Currently, this collaboration is active in all markets where both Plumery and Lokalise operate. The initial joint deployment is underway as well.

Large-scale localization of digital banking

Modern financial institutions are focusing on enriching their services by improving the experience, efficiency, and accessibility for customers. Meanwhile, global banking customers expect native language support as a standard, making a multilingual approach essential.

By combining Plumery’s digital banking platform with Lokalise’s localization infrastructure and AI orchestration, financial institutions can extend their customer base by deploying and updating multilingual journeys with control and compliance in place.

This collaboration also aims to enable financial institutions to deliver high-quality localized digital banking experiences more cost-effectively and efficiently across all channels without issues. This approach minimizes operational complexity, streamlines market entry, optimizes adherence to language- and accessibility-related regulations, and fosters a more inclusive customer experience.

Etgar Bonar, CMO at Lokalise, highlighted that integrating AI orchestration and continuous localization directly into Plumery’s platform will allow users to roll out and update multilingual services with reduced costs while ensuring consistent, compliant, and localized experiences. These experiences are crucial for market expansion and customer growth.

Following this strategic move, Plumery recently launched AI Fabric, a solution designed to provide an AI-ready foundation for AI-assisted digital banking on an event-driven data mesh. This service aims to offer financial institutions a standardized option to connect AI and generative AI models/agents with banking data, reducing the need for bespoke system integrations.
