OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Go in Brazil, a subscription plan designed to offer individuals broader access to the features of ChatGPT at a lower cost.

Introduction of ChatGPT Go

The version is positioned as an alternative between the free and Plus versions, with pricing 65% less than ChatGPT Plus. It includes exclusive benefits for Nubank customers who can enjoy a one-year free subscription. The partnership marks OpenAI’s first collaboration with a financial institution in Brazil.

Key Features and Benefits

New subscribers will gain access to various features of ChatGPT, including increased message limits, image generation capabilities, file uploads, and memory powered by GPT-5, which is OpenAI’s most advanced model. According to company data, 50 million Brazilians use ChatGPT monthly, and with the new plan, OpenAI aims to facilitate greater AI adoption for everyday tasks such as translation, tutoring, teaching, writing, or how-to guidance.

Benefits for Nubank Customers

Nubank customers across Brazil can subscribe to ChatGPT Go through the Nu app. They receive different durations of free subscription based on their status: a one-month free subscription for those without a history of paid subscriptions, 3 months for Nubank+ members, and one year for Ultravioleta customers.

Subscription Process

To sign up, individuals need to obtain a coupon from the home screen or relevant center of the Nu app. Then they must complete registration on the ChatGPT website. The offer is subject to limited availability. Others can visit OpenAI’s website or download the ChatGPT mobile app, create an account if necessary, and select ChatGPT Go as their plan.

Collaboration Goals

OpenAI representatives stated that with ChatGPT Go, they aim to make AI tools more accessible globally. Working with Nubank helps OpenAI introduce these features to Brazilians from students to small business owners and assist them in leveraging AI for time savings and increased potential.
