NCR Atleos Corporation was chosen by Lloyds Banking Group to deploy its ATM as a Service technology for branch modernization.

Atleos excels in providing self-service financial access and boasts extensive expertise in ATM services, being one of the largest independent networks. The company enhances operational efficiency for financial institutions while supporting retailers and offering digital-first self-service experiences to consumers.

Lloyds Banking Group, a retail and commercial financial services provider based in the UK, is working to update its branch experience and boost operational efficiencies through this collaboration with NCR Atleos. Initial pilots are being conducted at branches in Manchester and Glasgow, focusing on introducing Atleos recycling technology featuring coin-in and coin-out functionality, along with transaction processing and engineering support.

NCR Atleos will manage hardware, software, logical security, installation, maintenance, cash forecasting, and processing for these strategic locations. This partnership aims to enhance ATM availability while enabling rapid rollout of new features and functionalities.

Representatives from NCR Atleos state that the goal is to simplify back-office complexities and provide reliable self-service experiences, thereby better serving customers and expanding access to cash and essential financial services.

In July 2025, NCR Atleos teamed up with InComm Payments to integrate a solution that bridges the digital and physical world via a comprehensive ATM network. This collaboration launched ReadyCode, an API-driven service enabling cardless cash withdrawals using secure codes received through popular applications.

ReadyCode became available at ATMs in over 40 states across more than 70 of the largest population centers in the United States, enhancing convenience and accessibility for consumers.
