Klarna has unveiled a range of new and extended retail partnerships, furthering the accessibility of its flexible payment solutions across luxury retail, fashion, and digital platforms in Europe.

In the UK market, Klarna has partnered with Harvey Nichols to introduce instalment and deferred payment options for online shoppers. This integration marks Klarna’s move into the premium segment of the UK retail industry, as Harvey Nichols is one of the country’s oldest luxury department stores.

Additionally, Klarna has widened its collaboration with H&M by extending it to include Romanian and Hungarian online shoppers. This expansion brings the company’s payment services to a broader audience across Central and Eastern Europe.

Klarna is also available through Buckaroo, a Dutch payment service provider, enabling merchants using the platform to incorporate Klarna into their checkout processes.

Scaling BNPL offerings

This year, Klarna has intensified its focus on enhancing its presence and expanding the reach of its services. Recently, G2A.COM integrated Klarna at the checkout point for digital game purchases, offering instalment and deferred payment options across more than 90,000 products.

Prior to this, Klarna and eBay extended their integration of embedded resale features to six new markets—Australia, Belgium, Canada, Ireland, Poland, and Switzerland—which will provide customers with greater access to flexible payment options at the point of sale.

Lastly, Klarna plans to integrate its flexible payment methods into AI-driven checkout processes via Stripe’s Shared Payment Tokens, reflecting its commitment to innovation in this space.
