IXOPAY, a global payments orchestration platform, has enhanced its commitment to responsible AI by signing the Cloud Security Alliance (CSA)’s AI trustworthy pledge.

With this announcement, IXOPAY has committed itself to the AI Trustworthy Pledge, which was initiated by the CSA to promote the ethical and secure development of artificial intelligence.

By joining the pledge, IXOPAY will concentrate on the CSA’s AI Safety Initiative, aiming to integrate principles of trust, transparency, and ethics into its fraud prevention, smart routing, and payment optimization solutions. Moreover, these efforts will support over USD 40 billion in annual payments across more than 30 countries.

According to an official press release, IXOPAY has pledged adherence to four core principles under the AI Trustworthy Pledge. These include prioritizing user safety and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in all AI deployments; ensuring transparency by clearly explaining the nature and purpose of AI systems used, thereby fostering trust among customers, partners, and regulators; upholding ethical accountability through fairness, explainability, and auditability in AI-driven decisions such as transaction approvals and fraud detection; and maintaining robust privacy protection standards, including IXOPAY’s PCI-DSS Level 1 certification and GDPR compliance.

This initiative also aligns with IXOPAY’s comprehensive security and governance strategy. The platform integrates tokenization and vaulting through its partnership with TokenEx, automates PCI compliance using Aperia Compliance, and offers a vendor-neutral architecture that empowers merchants and businesses to manage their payment stacks entirely.
