SUNRATE, a global payment and treasury management platform, has now connected its commercial cards with Google Pay.
This integration provides businesses worldwide with a quicker, safer, and more convenient method to make payments from their Android devices. SUNRATE’s commercial customers can add their cards to Google Pay and complete contactless transactions in-store, within apps, or online. Utilizing the security and privacy features of Google Pay, companies can engage in seamless transactions across different markets.
Streamlined Global Payments
SUNRATE is dedicated to offering advanced payment solutions that are smarter and more adaptable to modern business needs. By integrating with Google Pay, SUNRATE provides users greater speed, ease, and security for daily payments, such as business travel expenses, global expense management, and on-the-go purchases.
The commercial card is part of SUNRATE’s extensive range of global payment and treasury solutions, facilitating cross-border fund transfers to more than 190 countries and regions and handling transactions in over 130 currencies through its proprietary platform and APIs. This latest move underscores the company’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge digital payments solutions and user-centric experiences as businesses operate globally.
In January 2025, SUNRATE introduced trading and hedging services under Sunrate Markets Pte., which has received a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Additionally, SUNRATE expanded its service presence in Vietnam in August 2024.
Global Expansion Plans
In pursuit of further expansion, SUNRATE obtained in-principle approval for a money services business licence in Malaysia. The company plans to use this as a regional hub and scale its operations across the region to support businesses with cross-border payments and treasury solutions, helping them expand their reach.
Currently, SUNRATE operates in Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the UK, and mainland China, providing payment and treasury management services to businesses in these regions.
