In the second quarter of 2025, BMW Bank adopted FIS’s K-CORE24 and K-e-Banking solutions, facilitating the migration of more than 300,000 deposit accounts to a new technological framework.

According to FIS’ Harmony Gap report, which highlights operational efficiency as a critical factor for businesses, financial institutions are exploring innovative methods to streamline operations and meet customer demands effectively while boosting their bottom line.

Fostering Operational Efficiency

The collaboration underscores FIS’s commitment to offering Embedded Finance solutions that allow banks to incorporate deposit accounts and related services seamlessly into their digital platforms. Through this partnership, FIS will assist BMW Bank in delivering more streamlined financial transactions and customer service across its lending and deposits operations, thereby unlocking potential for growth and enhancing competitiveness.

K-CORE24 serves as a core-banking solution tailored for the German market, while K-e-Banking offers a secure and user-friendly digital experience with two-factor authentication. These tools enable direct transaction processing between BMW Bank and merchants, improving overall service quality.

FIS’s positive outlook on the alliance emphasizes its role in driving deposit growth at BMW Bank. Multiple institutions are now seeking to harmonize operations within their financial ecosystems to resolve issues across the money lifecycle effectively, and this project exemplifies the benefits of implementing suitable technology solutions throughout a bank’s operational journey.

BMW Bank’s perspective echoes FIS’s sentiments. The transition to FIS will bolster BMW Bank’s operational efficiency, aiding its goal to increase deposit volumes and surpass customer expectations in the evolving German market environment.
