This collaboration combines FinMont’s orchestration capabilities and FUGU’s fraud prevention technology to assist airlines and online travel agencies (OTAs) in enhancing payment acceptance while minimizing risk and fraudulent activities.
Enhanced Travel Experiences
The omnichannel payment management platform oversees both B2C and B2B payments, providing an efficient and unified infrastructure for travel merchants. FUGU’s fraud prevention measures monitor transactions after the point of authorization to ensure safer transaction processing while minimizing exposure to fraudulent activities.
By leveraging this partnership, airlines and OTAs can boost their authorisation rates by routing transactions through the most suitable payment service providers (PSP). This also enables them to accept more global passengers with support for multiple currencies and foreign exchange (FX) functionalities. The decoupling of acceptance from verification helps in reducing false declines.
Airlines can monitor post-payment transactions up until boarding, offering a comprehensive view through the unified payments and fraud dashboard. This enhances both operational efficiency and passenger experience.
