J.P. Morgan Payments has introduced a Supply Chain Finance (SCF) solution that is now integrated with Oracle Fusion Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). This integration supports FedEx, among other clients.

The bank’s initiative aims to enhance working capital management as part of its strategy to provide advanced financial solutions. The collaboration between J.P. Morgan Payments, Oracle, and FedEx seeks to improve cash flow and liquidity management by embedding SCF functionality within the ERP system via Oracle B2B. This setup allows for seamless integration and easier implementation compared to traditional custom solutions.

When an invoice is approved at FedEx, vendors can opt for extended payment terms or receive early funding from J.P. Morgan Payments based on FedEx’s credit rating, which reduces the typical six-month development cycle to a straightforward activation process.

Enhancing Working Capital Management

J.P. Morgan Payments’ SCF service is delivered through its Integrated Trade Finance for Oracle Fusion ERP. Additionally, FedEx benefits from J.P. Morgan’s L&A S and Kinexys blockchain technologies to boost liquidity management, including Kinexys Digital Payments across various regions.

The partnership has significantly transformed how FedEx manages working capital. According to the company, integrating J.P. Morgan Payments’ SCF and liquidity solutions tailored to its business needs has strengthened its financial position and enhanced operational resilience.

Since 2022, J.P. Morgan Payments and Oracle have been collaborating to provide their mutual corporate clients with better experiences through automated processes and improved connectivity. The range of integrations includes integrated banking services, AI-powered expense submission for touchless expenses, faster reimbursements, and virtual card solutions.

The ongoing partnership enhances the ability of customers to unlock new banking and working capital solutions through embedded artificial intelligence within Oracle Cloud ERP. Furthermore, Oracle is part of J.P. Morgan Payments’ Partner Network, which connects its payment products with over 80 third-party relationships and integrations to help clients build and optimize their payments strategies based on specific business requirements.
