A software company will collaborate closely with DSK Bank to drive its digital transformation and secure a sustainable operating model through the re-architecture of customer-centric digital solutions. The bank plans to implement Backbase’s Engagement Banking Platform, hosted on Microsoft Azure, along with Backbase’s Digital Banking and Digital Sales solutions, which will provide self-service and streamlined digital onboarding for retail customers.
Being part of the OTP Group, DSK Bank intends to benefit from the master template created in SKB Bank, a Slovenian member of OTP and an early Backbase customer. This strategy aims to expedite the launch of new digital products and reduce the overall cost of technology by leveraging economies of scale and a platform-based approach.
The front-to-back transformation is aligned with DSK Bank’s mobile-first strategy, designed to deliver an integrated digital experience for its retail and small business customers. From initial customer acquisition through servicing and product delivery, the solution will manage the entire customer journey to enhance loyalty and engagement. Additionally, the Backbase Engagement Banking Platform will empower bank employees to gain a comprehensive view of their customers, thereby facilitating more personalized service.
The partnership targets not only to diminish processing times but also to increase customer satisfaction and encourage greater use of digital channels over in-branch transactions.
