As of May 30, 2024, Cashaa will stop accepting new USD and Euro IBAN business banking accounts. This decision comes after the suspension of new business sign-ups earlier in the year. According to a recent announcement, Cashaa’s operations related to these specific currencies will be discontinued, leaving unaffected other wallet services and lending offerings.

Cashaa’s Future Plans

Cashaa, an established UK-based neobank founded in 2016, plans to introduce a comprehensive all-in-one cryptocurrency wallet. This new wallet will allow users to buy, store, spend, earn, and borrow cryptocurrencies conveniently. The company has already tested this wallet with over 3,000 beta users for the past six months.

Cashaa intends to expand its service into multiple markets beyond Europe, including India, Turkey, UAE, Indonesia, Kenya, and South Africa. An official launch is scheduled for June 2024.

Founders’ Outlook

The founder of Cashaa expressed optimism about the increasing mainstream adoption of cryptocurrencies in 2024. They also noted the growing presence of major institutions like BlackRock, particularly following the SEC’s approval of Bitcoin ETFs. These developments are expected to attract a new user base, including those who were previously uninterested in cryptocurrency as an asset class.
