MobileIDWorld Reports on Android Binder Vulnerability

According to MobileIDWorld, three applications—Camero, callCam, and FileCrypt Manager—are exploiting the Android Binder vulnerability. These apps are disguised as photo editing tools or a file manager, respectively.

Buguroo warns that these applications aim to gain root access on devices that download them, thereby granting hackers full control over the device and access to stored personal information and passwords. This happens without requiring additional permissions post-installation, making it difficult for users to detect the breach until significant damage has been done.
