Enhancing BNY’s Operational Efficiency Through AI Integration

For a considerable period, BNY has been leveraging Google Cloud’s advanced AI capabilities. The financial institution intends to continue harnessing the latest models, such as Gemini 3 and Veo 3, across its enterprise AI platform, Eliza.

The integration with Gemini Enterprise will enable BNY’s employees to develop AI agents that can efficiently process, synthesize, and analyze extensive financial reports, data, and historical trends to derive insights and navigate through complex financial information. Furthermore, the partnership supports the automation of routine, data-focused tasks.

Regarding this move, Sarthak Pattanaik, chief data & AI officer at BNY, elaborated on the company’s AI strategy, which aims to extend such capabilities across every aspect of the business. Integrating Gemini Enterprise will help BNY continue advancing features embedded into Eliza, scaling the platform’s agentic research, securely integrating more data sources, and enhancing user experience. This strategic initiative highlights BNY’s commitment to developing analytical and strategic insights for its workforce, thereby adding greater value in daily client interactions.

Rohit Bhat, general manager and managing director of Financial Services at Google Cloud, further emphasized that combining Gemini Enterprise’s reasoning capabilities with BNY’s financial markets expertise underscores the future of banking as an integration between human proficiency and computational agents.
