Mambu, a SaaS cloud banking platform, has expanded its partnership with ABN AMRO to support the launch of BUUT, a new bank designed for young individuals to enhance their financial management.

Overview of BUUT

In just 12 months, BUUT was rolled out as a comprehensive digital banking service encompassing various tools within one application. It features a Dutch IBAN account, savings and budgeting resources, payment options, and cards.

Mambu’s composable platform provides core banking services that aid in managing the BUUT IBAN accounts, ensuring smooth operations for payment and savings functionalities.

Previous Collaboration with ABN AMRO

ABN AMRO has previously worked with Mambu to develop the business lender New10 in 2016. This earlier partnership demonstrated how financial institutions can benefit from a cloud-native platform, providing flexibility and adaptability for meeting market demands.

Through this renewed collaboration with ABN AMRO on BUUT, Mambu aims to contribute to delivering cutting-edge digital banking experiences that cater specifically to the evolving needs of younger demographics like Gen Z and Alpha.

Objectives and Benefits of BUUT

Built in conjunction with Tikkie’s expertise, ABN AMRO officially unveiled BUUT in June 2025. The bank’s intent was to create a user-friendly, interactive, and visually engaging service that aligns perfectly with the digital lifestyle of young users.

Supported by both Mambu’s technology and ABN AMRO’s systems, BUUT is positioned as an adaptable solution in today’s fast-changing financial landscape.
