Customers benefit from the convenience of using Apple Pay on their iPhone, iPad, and Mac for quicker purchases in apps or through Safari. This simplifies payments across various services like food and grocery deliveries, online shopping, transportation, parking, and even in-app purchases on their Apple Watch. By opting for a credit or debit card with Apple Pay, customers ensure that their actual card numbers are never stored on the device or Apple’s servers.

Instead, a unique Device Account Number is generated and securely stored within the Secure Element, a certified industry-standard chip designed to protect payment information.
