Peach Payments Launches Enterprise POS Terminal with Secure Payment Options

Following this announcement, Peach Payments has introduced a new enterprise POS terminal designed to support secure and efficient alternative payment methods. This product, named Digit Pro, is aimed at South African mid-size and enterprise customers.

Developed as a portable terminal that supports multiple payment routes, Digit Pro enables merchants to customize their checkout flow according to their specific needs. Transactions processed via Digit Pro will be consolidated with the merchant’s other transactions on Peach Payments’ dashboard, regardless of the payment method or whether it includes Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options.

Focused on addressing the growing demands for flexible payments and streamlined business operations, Peach Payments has developed Digit Pro to meet these needs. Multiple enterprises have tested the device, and its checkout flow is designed to cover various aspects of the sales process, including stock management, rewards programs, and order handling.

The terminal supports a wide range of payment methods such as Apple Pay, Payflex, RCS, 1Voucher, Capitec Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Float, and Mobicred. Peach Payments plans to continue expanding the list of supported payment methods in the future.

Currently available for South African merchants, Digit Pro is scheduled for expansion to Mauritius in the coming year, contingent on local regulatory requirements.
