Wizard, an AI agent platform for e-commerce, recently announced a strategic partnership with Mastercard and Stripe during the Stripe Sessions event. This collaboration will integrate Mastercard Insight Tokens and Mastercard Agent Pay via Stripe’s Shared Payment Tokens into Wizard’s shopping platform. The integration is anticipated to be fully operational by Q2 2026 for Wizard users.
Mastercard Insight Tokens supply AI agents with geographically specific spending insights, enabling Wizard’s agents to offer product recommendations based on actual consumer behavior in a particular area, rather than relying solely on user prompts. Mastercard Agent Pay facilitates secure transactions initiated by the agent on behalf of the shopper, ensuring that all parties remain protected within established payment processes.
Unified agentic commerce journey
By combining these two Mastercard capabilities through Stripe’s platform, the integration offers an end-to-end conversational shopping experience from product discovery to checkout. Wizard’s agents can evaluate whether a customer might favor local, online, or specialty retail options and adjust their recommendations accordingly before completing the purchase via Agent Pay without disrupting the conversation.
This partnership builds upon Wizard’s previous collaboration with Stripe, announced in March 2026, which covered Stripe’s Agentic Commerce Protocol. The addition of Mastercard’s intelligence and payment functionalities adds real-world behavioral insights and agent-driven payment execution to this existing framework.
In a statement, Melissa Bridgeford, CEO of Wizard, highlighted that Mastercard’s Insight Tokens provide a layer of insight based on actual consumer behavior. Combining this with Agent Pay facilitated through Stripe enhances the personalized discovery-to-checkout process into an optimal single experience for shoppers. Sherri Haymond, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Digital Commercialisation at Mastercard, added that the partnership showcases how intelligent insights and secure agent-led payments can create adaptable experiences tailored to each individual consumer.
