Onramp, a U.S.-based bitcoin custody and financial advisory firm, has introduced Onramp Finance. This platform integrates cash management, bitcoin brokerage services, direct ownership of gold, individual retirement accounts (IRA) for bitcoins, and a rewards credit card into a comprehensive suite designed for individuals and families seeking long-term wealth preservation.
Onramp Finance is structured around three main components. Firstly, it includes cash accounts that offer up to 5% reward on balances funded by Onramp, powered by Bridge. The rewards are automatically credited back to the same account. Secondly, there’s a credit card offering up to 1.5% cashback on purchases, which is also deposited into the same account. Additionally, bitcoin brokerage services are available across all 50 U.S. states at low cost, coupled with direct gold ownership options, and the platform supports the use of a bitcoin IRA for tax-advantaged accumulation.
Custody Infrastructure and Client Base
Since its inception in 2023, Onramp has provided custody services, financial planning, and advisory support to individuals, families, advisors, and institutions. The company’s robust custody infrastructure is distributed across multiple institutions including Onramp, BitGo, Coinbase, Coincover, and Tetra, with insurance coverage through Lloyd’s of London. This infrastructure is now integrated into the new Onramp Finance platform.
To mark this launch, Onramp has initiated the Genesis Program, a special membership cohort limited to 210 members. To qualify, applicants must complete a trade valued at $100 or more within 30 days of signing up. Members of the Genesis program will enjoy exclusive benefits such as one year of fee-free Multi-Institution Custody following a minimum two-bitcoin deposit, direct access to the CEO for 90 days, and permanent membership in a private feedback channel.
