MoneyHash, an emerging market-focused payment orchestration platform, has entered into a multi-year partnership with Visa to enhance the integration of Visa’s Cybersource payment solution within its own infrastructure.
Building on their initial collaboration in 2024, this partnership is aimed at offering merchants access to Visa’s global payment network alongside local and international payment methods through a single point of integration.
According to the official press release, MoneyHash will continue to scale Cybersource within its orchestration layer. This will enable businesses to improve authorization rates, broaden their acceptance of payments, and expedite market launches across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region without having to handle multiple direct integrations.
Context and Business Justification in Emerging Markets
Emerging markets often come with intricate payment infrastructure challenges, including fragmented service landscapes, diverse local payment methods, and inconsistent authorization performance across different networks and geographies. By combining Cybersource’s global capabilities with MoneyHash’s orchestration layer, the partnership seeks to boost payment success rates, minimize processing costs, and enhance conversion through automated recovery from failures.
As digital commerce adoption surges in the MENA region, there is a rising demand for flexible multi-provider payment systems that allow enterprises to streamline their operations without compromising flexibility. The partnership with Visa aims to address these needs by providing merchants with seamless and efficient payment processing solutions.
In line with this development, Nader Abdelrazik, the CEO of MoneyHash, stated that the new partnership signifies a natural progression in their relationship with Visa, from initial collaboration to deeper infrastructure integration. This will provide merchants in MENA and other regions with access to Visa’s global capabilities while maintaining full control over performance optimization through MoneyHash’s orchestration layer.
