Bluefin, a leading US-based provider of PCI-validated point-to-point encryption (P2PE) payment infrastructure, has recently announced an extension to its partnership with Agile Ticketing Solutions. This solution is dedicated to delivering ticketing and event management software for theatres, performing arts venues, and entertainment organizations.

The collaboration initiated in 2018 now encompasses the PAX A35 Android payment device and Bluefin’s BluePOS application.

Bluefin’s PCI-validated P2PE technology ensures that cardholder data remains unreadable from the moment of interaction until the end of the transaction, thereby reducing the scope of PCI compliance for venues while maintaining an excellent customer checkout experience.

The PAX A35 is a versatile Android-based payment device that supports EMV, NFC, magstripe, and QR code payments. Designed for high-transaction environments like theatre box offices or event venue entry points, this device offers Agile’s clients a wider range of payment options and quicker transaction processing.

BluePOS, the proprietary payment application by Bluefin, offers enhanced flexibility and scalability over traditional payment applications. Complete control over the application ensures faster updates and more responsive feature releases based on feedback from partners and merchants.

This expansion allows Agile to cater not only to its existing entertainment clients but also to emerging opportunities in higher education and other dynamic venue settings that require flexible yet secure payment solutions.
