iDenfy and Fifteen Soft have collaborated to implement identity verification and proof of address solutions for a football predictions rewards application.
This partnership tackles the increasing challenge in the digital sports prediction ecosystem, where platforms offering real rewards are becoming more susceptible to account fraud and duplicate sign-ups. Data from the US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) indicates that consumer fraud losses grew from USD 3.5 billion in 2020 to USD 12.5 billion in 2024, a period marked by a rise in account opening fraud, driven by advancements in AI and synthetic identity techniques.
For Fifteen, where users earn real-world prizes for completing prediction streaks across football matches, ensuring that rewards reach only verified, unique individuals is crucial both as a security measure and for long-term platform stability. The app also features leaderboard functions and social sharing capabilities, which can incentivize fraudulent account creation.
Verification architecture and process
As per the official press release, iDenfy’s KYC solution integrates AI-based biometric face authentication with 3D liveness detection. The system is capable of recognizing documents from over 200 countries across more than 3,000 document types, enabling users to verify their identity by uploading a government-issued ID and taking a selfie. The liveness component confirms the user’s physical presence and matches them with the submitted documentation.
The proof of address (PoA) service adds an additional verification layer by confirming a user’s residential address through accepted documents such as bank statements, utility bills, or insurance records. iDenfy collaborated closely with Fifteen Soft to align these workflows with the app’s mobile-first design and reward-based structure. Furthermore, any flagged or uncertain cases are reviewed by iDenfy’s dedicated team of specialists who operate on a 24-hour basis.
Fifteen Soft selected iDenfy as a partner due to its willingness to tailor verification workflows to the platform’s unique needs and its technical adaptability. A company representative from Fifteen Soft also highlighted that they chose a long-term partnership over a standard verification provider, citing iDenfy’s deep understanding of their product-specific challenges.
