Lunar, a Denmark-based digital bank, has partnered with Wolt, a delivery platform, to introduce Wolt+ benefits to Lunar’s premium customers in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden.

Under this partnership agreement, users on Lunar’s top-tier Unlimited plan will enjoy perpetual access to Wolt+. This includes zero-fee deliveries along with exclusive offers available on the platform.

Phased Introduction Across Subscription Levels

Lunar’s lower-tier subscribers (Light, Standard, and Plus) will be eligible for Wolt+ benefits redeemable over three to nine months without extra costs.

This partnership is being rolled out in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden with localized adjustments to better fit each market’s needs.

For Lunar, this alliance enhances its subscription-based banking model by integrating everyday services into various tiered plans for both individual and business customers.

Wolt sees this partnership as a strategic move to expand the reach of Wolt+ via Lunar’s customer base in these three Nordic countries, facilitating zero-fee deliveries that can reduce everyday errands for consumers.

Expanded Benefits for Wolt’s Partners

The partnership also extends to Lunar’s tailored packages for Wolt’s restaurant, retail, and courier partners. These packages aim to provide local businesses and self-employed individuals on the Wolt platform with simplified banking and payment solutions that streamline their financial operations.

This move reflects a broader trend among digital banks to expand beyond traditional banking by partnering with lifestyle and commerce platforms, enhancing the value proposition of premium plans while boosting customer engagement and retention.

Both companies aim to strengthen their market presence in the Nordic region through this collaboration, solidifying Lunar’s challenger bank position and allowing Wolt to distribute financial services more widely through its delivery network.
