Revolut Business has launched a new Subscriptions capability in the UK, aiming to streamline recurring revenue management.
With this update, Revolut plans to enhance its platform from mere payment acceptance to comprehensive revenue operations for businesses. The new feature empowers enterprises to handle recurring billing directly within the Revolut Business app, eliminating the need for external subscription software and associated costs.

Simplifying Subscription Management
Revolut Business’s Subscriptions concentrates on integrating payments and customer data into a unified platform, allowing merchants to digitize payment administration and transaction reconciliation. By linking these processes, businesses can gain clearer insights into subscriber activity and revenue performance.

Revolut’s Subscriptions feature also enables businesses to create and manage subscription plans either in-app or via API. Companies can now develop tailored pricing models, offer free trials, and implement flexible billing structures without incurring additional fees for separate subscription management tools. The solution is built around automation, including automated payment reminders and transaction re-processing, which enhances the likelihood of successfully recovering failed charges.
In response to customer requests, Alex Codina, General Manager of Acquiring at Revolut, highlighted that the launch addresses a critical need for optimal subscription management. He emphasized how embedding subscription management with payments offers merchants a holistic view of their customers, moving beyond simple transaction processing towards full-fledged revenue operations. This development marks an important step in Revolut’s commitment to staying ahead in the market and delivering user-centric solutions.
