India-based B2B SaaS TechFin company Perfios has recently received ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for its Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS).

Being among the first BFSI-technology companies to achieve this international standard, Perfios demonstrates a strong commitment to delivering AI that is not only innovative and scalable but also explainable, secure, and ethically sound. The certification was awarded following an exhaustive independent external audit of the company’s operations.

With this certification, Perfios showcases its governance across the entire AI lifecycle, including risk management, transparency, human oversight, and continuous monitoring. Through their platform, Perfios has integrated AI to handle:

  • Intelligent digitization, such as automated processing of KYC, financial, and healthcare records;
  • Enhanced security measures, including deepfake detection and liveness verification for Video KYC and fraud prevention;
  • Risk intelligence tools, like real-time shell-entity detection and behavioral risk analysis;
  • Decision automation features that support AI-driven underwriting and complex financial decision-making assistance.
