In an effort to broaden its service offerings, TBC Uzbekistan has launched a subscription-based feature within its digital banking application.
This new offering, named TBC Plus, is now available via the TBC UZ app. The initiative mirrors a similar move in the group’s payments platform earlier this year.
TBC Plus offers enhanced access to both financial and non-financial services, such as improved payment tracking, entry into prize draws, and bundled third-party lifestyle services. Partners included are Yandex Plus users. Additionally, subscribers can benefit from higher cashback rates when using the Salom Card issued by TBC Uzbekistan.
Growing Subscription Services within the Ecosystem
Earlier this year, a subscription service called Payme Plus was introduced in the group’s payments app, Payme. Since its launch, it has attracted over 450,000 monthly active subscribers and users have collectively received more than USD 1.5 million in cashback, aligning with an increase in usage of paid features.
TBC Uzbekistan officials noted that the introduction of TBC Plus is part of their strategy to encourage a broader use of digital services across the group. They aspire to replicate the engagement seen in Payme by offering similar incentives in the banking application, aiming to streamline users’ financial activities within one interface. The company also plans to expand subscription services as part of its product development roadmap for the year ahead.
TBC Uzbekistan is a subsidiary of TBC Bank Group, listed on the London Stock Exchange, and operates various digital financial services in Uzbekistan, including TBC UZ Digital Bank, Payme payments app, Buy Now, Pay Later service, and a digital insurance unit. The group reported 22 million registered users across its platforms and disclosed operating income of USD 189 million for the first nine months of 2025.
