MoneyHash has joined forces with Mastercard to expand merchant access to the Merchant Cloud platform across the Middle East and Africa.

Simplifying Merchant Operations

Connecting through Mastercard’s Gateway via a single API will help merchants streamline their integration processes, enhance operational efficiency, and boost payment performance in various markets.

This partnership brings benefits to merchants by providing them with a payment orchestration platform that can be accessed across the Middle East and Africa region. Businesses can now leverage MoneyHash’s unified API for easier connection, reducing the complexities of multiple integrations and shortening time to market.

Merchants will also gain improved transaction routing, higher success rates, and reduced payment failures. Additionally, they can utilize a centralised dashboard for better visibility into their payment operations.

The integration offered by this collaboration provides merchants with greater flexibility and control over their payment ecosystems. They can use MoneyHash’s smart routing capabilities to enhance transactions on the Mastercard Gateway and other payment providers, thereby optimizing conversion rates and reducing processing costs.

Furthermore, both companies will supply unified reporting and analytics tools that enable merchants to make data-driven decisions and improve their overall payment performance. These resources support businesses in expanding their payment infrastructure as they grow while ensuring security facilitated by Mastercard.

Mastercard’s Commitment

According to Mete Guney, Executive Vice President of Market Development at Mastercard EEMEA, the company is dedicated to collaborating with fintech partners like MoneyHash. His statement highlights their shared goal of developing solutions that enhance the payment landscape and contribute to the growth of the digital economy in the region.

Mastercard aims to support merchants’ digital transformation efforts alongside MoneyHash, ensuring optimal checkout experiences for online shoppers.

This partnership with Mastercard follows MoneyHash’s previous collaboration with Tabby, which provided flexible payment options through their unified API. The initiative facilitated quick access to Tabby’s BNPL service in the UAE and KSA markets, streamlining the merchant onboarding process and improving the checkout experience.
