Payment infrastructure provider Juspay has teamed up with Visa to tackle significant challenges in Brazil’s ecommerce sector, particularly high cart abandonment rates and the need for robust transaction security.

Strategic Collaboration on Click to Pay

This partnership aims to implement Click to Pay at a large scale. Based on the global EV Secure Remote Commerce (SRC) standard, Click to Pay streamlines the payment process by allowing customers to finalize transactions with just one click using tokenized and protected credentials from their Visa cards.

Through Juspay’s infrastructure platform, merchants can simplify integration and boost conversion rates by providing a smoother checkout experience. This move is expected to support the growth of digital commerce in Brazil as consumers enjoy more convenient and secure transactions.

Enhancing Security and Convenience

The collaboration also emphasizes improved security with the use of biometric authentication, such as passkeys. This will enable merchants to focus on business growth rather than security concerns.

Juspay’s work with Visa builds upon previous efforts, including a similar partnership with Mastercard in October 2025, which aimed to enhance digital payments and reduce cart abandonment for Brazilian consumers.
