Episode Six, a strategic agreement with the New Zealand-based wealth app Sharesies, is set to support its recently launched debit card.
Empowering Investment Through Spending
The debit card allows users in New Zealand to earn investments on their spending. Through this partnership, Sharesies aims to enhance its debit card features by integrating Episode Six’s card issuance and ledger technology. This integration supports multi-currency transactions, virtual account management, and foreign exchange functionality.
This seamless ecosystem will enable customers to manage both spending and investing within one platform.
Both companies are committed to making finance more accessible and responsive to customer needs by linking traditional financial services (TradFi) with decentralized finance (DeFi).
Strategic Collaborations
In addition, Episode Six has also partnered with Fireblocks to develop a unified payments solution. The collaboration aims to create a platform supporting fiat currencies, stablecoins, loyalty points, and other digital assets for secure and flexible financial operations across various asset classes.
Earlier, Episode Six collaborated with xMoney to build a unified payments system for both fiat and cryptocurrency transactions. This partnership was part of xMoney’s expansion into new markets, optimizing the architecture behind its global payments platform through Episode Six’s API-based infrastructure.
