Liveness detection and anti-spoofing are crucial for the security of national identity programs, as they prevent fraud and manipulation. Precise Biometrics has joined forces with SecuGen to introduce an advanced solution that offers robust verification for large-scale systems like Aadhaar and MOSIP.

Unified Solution for National ID Programs

Precise’s BioLive software is now paired with SecuGen’s certified scanners and sensors. This integration ensures fraud-resistant identity verification during both the enrollment and authentication processes, thereby reducing the risk of identity theft and system compromise.

The solution is designed to protect against various types of presentation attacks, including printed images, sophisticated digital manipulations, and deepfakes, all while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Being a software-based service, BioLive is easy to integrate with existing enrollment systems with minimal complexity. It will be continuously updated to counter new spoofing methods, ensuring long-term security and reliability.

Precise Biometrics aims to provide governments and system integrators with convenient and scalable high-assurance anti-spoofing solutions through its partnerships like the one with SecuGen. The collaboration supports the UN Sustainable Development Goal 16.9: ‘Legal identity for all,’ helping individuals gain secure digital identities for accessing services such as healthcare, government benefits, and financial solutions.

Feedback from national ID stakeholders has been positive due to the high security and user-friendly nature of BioLive, while SecuGen emphasizes that their combined offering is a preferred choice for national identification systems. Together, they enable governments and citizens to benefit from secure, user-friendly, and safe identity verification processes.
