CrazyGames x Defold Game Jam from June 13 to 15, 2025, will see the introduction of a software development kit (SDK) for browser game payments by Xsolla and Defold. The SDK is designed to simplify in-game purchasing implementation. It targets participants of the upcoming CrazyGames x Defold Game Jam event. By streamlining the integration process, developers using Defold’s Lua-based engine can more efficiently incorporate payment functionality into their browser games.

According to officials from Xsolla, this collaboration aims to provide an easier way for developers to monetize outside traditional app stores and reach a broader web audience. Representatives from Defold emphasize that reducing developer workload is key and that partnering with Xsolla supports this goal by making monetization more accessible in the expanding web gaming market.

The SDK represents joint efforts between Xsolla, Defold, and CrazyGames to support browser-first development. Direct integration into CrazyGames streamlines the route from gameplay to transaction without relying on external distribution platforms.

Following its ongoing initiatives for alternative game distribution channels and ecosystem partnerships, Xsolla has expanded local payment options in the MENA region. Key payment methods include Fawry Cash, Aman, Masary, Momken, Vodafone Wallet, Orange Cash Wallet, Mobile & Banking Wallets in Egypt, Sadad in Saudi Arabia, eFAWATEERcom in Jordan, and STC Direct Carrier Billing (DCB) in Bahrain.

These developments reflect Xsolla’s commitment to providing game developers with the necessary tools to navigate and succeed in rapidly growing markets across multiple regions.
