Money movement application Venmo has partnered with Bilt, aiming to enhance the utilization of its services for everyday payments among individuals across the United States.

Venmo and Bilt’s Collaboration Plans

Starting in early 2026, Bilt Members will have Venmo as a new payment option for rent and mortgage payments. Additionally, they can shop at local neighbourhood merchants via the Bilt app or within Venmo.

The partnership combines Bilt’s rent and rewards network with Venmo’s social payment experience, offering renters and homeowners flexible and convenient monthly payment methods. Users will be able to split payments with roommates and earn Bilt Points redeemable for travel, fitness, home décor, and more.

Currently boasting around 5 million members across the U.S., and preparing for early 2026 mortgage rewards, Bilt and Venmo aim to streamline payment processes. This collaboration expands Venmo’s acceptance among Bilt’s network of over 45,000 merchants, thereby offering customers more flexible payment options while supporting local businesses in connecting with Venmo’s large user base.

Venmo sees this partnership as a step towards its broader in-app commerce strategy. The move is expected to enhance how the next generation spends, shares, and discovers within the app ecosystem.
