The suite integrates three key technologies: Web Passkey in partnership with Mastercard, Merchant In-App Authentication (Flash Pay), and Bank In-App Authentication. These solutions are designed to offer a more secure and efficient payment process for both domestic and international markets.

Moving Away from Traditional OTP Methods

Aligning with the Reserve Bank of India’s guidelines on risk-based authentication, Wibmo’s Intelligent Authentication Suite introduces biometric authentication as an alternative to traditional one-time password (OTP) methods. This innovation aims to provide enhanced security and faster transactions while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Wibmo Passkey in Partnership with Mastercard

Wibmo is collaborating with Mastercard to launch a Passkey solution that uses fingerprint, Face ID, or PIN for secure authentication. This partnership combines global network security from Mastercard with Wibmo’s expertise in authentication, ensuring quick and reliable transactions within 12 seconds.

Flash Pay: Merchant In-App Authentication

Flash Pay is a user-friendly solution that leverages biometric technology for secure payments. It allows users to make purchases using facial or fingerprint recognition while offering OTP as a backup method when needed. This tool helps banks better manage customer authentication within the merchant app and enhances customer satisfaction by streamlining payment processes.

Smart Orchestration & Bank In-App Authentication

The Intelligent Authentication Suite also features Smart Orchestration, which selects the most appropriate authentication method based on various factors such as ACS capabilities, user behavior, and risk assessment. Additionally, Bank In-App authentication enables customers to authenticate online card payments directly from their bank app.
