TBC Bank Uzbekistan has recently made a significant move to enhance its service accessibility for non-residents in the region.

This development allows foreign nationals residing or visiting Uzbekistan to benefit from TBC UZ’s digital banking services. Key offerings include the Salom Debit Card, deposits, transfers, and utility payments.

The financial institution will provide these services through its mobile app, ensuring a seamless user experience for both new and existing customers. At the same time, TBC Uzbekistan remains committed to adapting to market dynamics while adhering to regulatory requirements.

TBC Uzbekistan’s Strategy to Expand Financial Services

The expansion of financial services to non-residents is part of TBC Uzbekistan’s broader strategy to increase its market presence. By catering to new customer segments, the institution aims to broaden its potential client base significantly.

This initiative also targets highly-skilled expatriate workers, students, and entrepreneurs, fostering their integration into the digital economy of Uzbekistan. Through this expansion, TBC Uzbekistan seeks to stimulate growth in the digital ecosystem and create additional revenue streams.

For new customers wishing to register, they can do so through the TBC UZ app by completing an online application and verifying their identity using an international passport, proof of temporary registration in Uzbekistan, personal identification number, and a local phone number. Onboarding is then completed with a face-to-face meeting at designated locations; currently, these are available only in Tashkent, with plans to expand across the country by the end of 2025.
