Biometric identity verification and authentication solutions provider authID has partnered with MajorKey Technologies to enhance high-assurance identity verification within Microsoft Entra Suite.

Integrating Proof Technology Globally

In their collaboration, MajorKey will offer authID’s Proof technology to a global audience of Microsoft customers. This move aims to scale up identity protection through biometric verification methods designed to counter deepfakes and identity fraud.

Fighting AI-Driven Fraud

The partnership between authID and MajorKey emerges against the backdrop of heightened fraud concerns, particularly among organizations struggling to verify the authenticity of remote job candidates. Recent industry data shows that 17% of hiring managers have encountered instances where candidates used deepfakes during video interviews. Gartner predicts that by 2028, one in four job candidate profiles may be fraudulent.

By joining forces, authID and MajorKey seek to support enterprises in accelerating hiring processes, ensuring compliance, and defending against new security threats. authID’s Proof technology features advanced biometric identity verification capable of detecting deepfake attempts during live camera presentations and hidden device injections. This ensures that enterprises can protect against fake candidates, mitigate insider risks, meet compliance requirements, and uphold a smooth user experience.

In related developments, a spokesperson from authID stated that the partnership with MajorKey aligns with their strategy to leverage biometric identity verification alongside Microsoft Entra expertise for more secure remote hiring practices.

Previous Alliance with Prove

In June 2025, authID also formed an alliance with Prove to combat fraudulent activities. This partnership was aimed at addressing challenges in the digital environment through advanced biometric-driven technology that can protect against synthetic identities and fraud.
