Mastercard has recently rolled out a new embedded virtual card payment feature within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, replacing traditional manual procedures.

Secure payments, enhanced visibility, and automated reconciliation

This integration leverages Mastercard’s virtual card solution and Oracle’s B2B technology to provide users with a streamlined, secure, and fully integrated virtual card experience. Integrating virtual cards into the Oracle Cloud ERP will enable organizations to gain real-time insights, improved control, better working capital management, and smoother supplier onboarding within their existing records.

The launch is designed to help Australian businesses transition from cumbersome manual processes to a unified payment workflow that centralizes financial management. Automation of reconciliation processes reduces human error risks, allowing finance teams to focus more on high-value tasks. Detailed remittance data ensures greater transparency throughout the payment lifecycle for both buyers and sellers.

Compared to traditional implementations requiring custom integration efforts, Mastercard’s solution seamlessly integrates into customers’ existing Oracle Cloud ERP subscriptions, thus minimizing additional setup or technical resources needed.

Mastercard’s ongoing commitment to modernizing commercial payments

Since the beginning of September 2025, Mastercard has been making significant strides. Notably, the company introduced Agentic Pay for developers, aiming to expand its consulting services and foster deeper partnerships across the global tech and financial ecosystem. This move seeks to provide more secure and efficient shopping experiences using artificial intelligence (AI) and intelligent agents while also improving how AI can handle payments securely and confidently.

Mastercard has partnered with several organizations such as Stripe, Google, and Ant International’s Antom to make secure agentic transactions accessible and scalable for digital merchants globally. Additionally, Mastercard collaborated with Paytently to develop an optimized Open Banking payment solution and worked alongside NCR Atleos and ITCARD to enhance contactless experiences at ATMs.
