Each program is managed by Zūm Rails from start to finish, including onboarding, compliance, transaction processing, and customer support. Businesses can customize the prepaid cards with their own branding and reload them instantly via Zūm Rails’ payment infrastructure.
Zūm Rails Services in Canada
In 2025, Zūm Rails aimed to introduce additional payment features to the Canadian market. In July of that year, they partnered with Western Union Canada to facilitate quick and efficient cross-border money transfers between Canada and more than 200 countries.
The integration of Zūm Rails APIs into Western Union’s network was planned to enable real-time fund movements for Western Union customers using Interac eTransfer. This allowed clients to transfer funds in Canada instantly and then send them internationally.
