The EMVCo PICC Analog Test Solution comprises the UT³ Platform conformance test system, a 6-axis industrial robot within a safety cell, and additional EMVCo testing equipment such as antennas. It assists phone and chipset manufacturers in verifying their products’ compliance prior to market launch.
By the end of 2016, EMVCo mandated that all labs must incorporate automated positioning into their test procedures. Currently, this solution stands out as the only one on the market with an integrated qualified robot for automatic placement and alignment.
The system also automates testing through repetitions, measurements, traceability, log file generation, and reporting in accordance with EMVCo standards. Notably, it features a ‘live log’ that displays results in real-time during test execution, saving time when errors occur.
