By scanning this QR code with their smartphone, along with taking and submitting a selfie of both sides of their ID card, customers complete these steps on their device using a stylus or their finger to sign electronically. The resulting valid contract documents are promptly accessible within the customer’s My Sunrise account. Once the identification process is finished, any saved video clips from the selfies are typically deleted after ten days.

The initial facial recognition verification is conducted against the ID document in the Sunrise back office. No data is stored on the customer’s smartphone, and the entire transaction is safeguarded by the Sunrise Information Security Management System, which meets ISO 27001 standards.
