TBC Uzbekistan, a digital banking ecosystem, has recently expanded its services by launching TBC Insurance and entering new high-growth markets. This new initiative is now fully integrated into the TBC UZ app, enhancing the overall customer experience for insurance users in Uzbekistan through a simplified, digital service. Currently, it offers credit life insurance, with plans to introduce additional personal insurance options in the future.

Following the acquisition of a life insurance license from the National Agency of Perspective Projects of Uzbekistan in March 2025, TBC Insurance had its soft launch in April 2025. The service has already gained significant traction with over 140,000 policies issued to date.

TBC Uzbekistan’s Fintech Ecosystem

TBC Uzbekistan comprises three fast-growing fintech companies: TBC UZ, one of the largest digital banks in the country; Payme, a digital payments app for individuals and small businesses; and Payme Nasiya (Payme Instalments), an evolving installment credit service. These entities together form a comprehensive financial ecosystem that includes banking, lending, and payment solutions tailored to various customer needs.

TBC Uzbekistan is part of the London-listed TBC Bank Group, which offers modern and technology-driven financial services in both the Caucasus and Central Asia. Besides TBC Uzbekistan, the group also operates TBC Georgia, a leading financial services provider with a 38% market share in customer loans and a 37% share in customer deposits.
