Following the increasing demand from users and merchants for more efficient payment processes, particularly in the gaming sector, digital design and marketing agency Zap has introduced a new payment product alongside Zap Cashier. This initiative leverages TrueLayer and DNA Payments technology.

Focusing on optimizing payments

DNA Payments boasts direct integrations with major ecommerce CMS platforms like Big Commerce and WooCommerce, backed by its checkout payments gateway. These capabilities enabled the company to assist in launching Zap’s new service. Both TrueLayer and DNA Payments contributed to making Zap Pay functional.

Through Zap Cashier, end users can look forward to a streamlined integrated pay-in and payout experience, reducing the need for manual bank transfers. For merchants, this product offers substantial time and cost savings by decreasing administration tasks due to its integration with the Zap platform. Furthermore, Zap Cashier enhances customer support for Zap’s client base.

One of the early adopters of Zap’s payment solution was Capital Competitions, which noted that transitioning to Zap Pay has not only simplified their process but also seen an increase in acceptance rates with fewer payment declines. Additionally, the interface is user-friendly and provides comprehensive reporting tools on revenue received. According to Zap officials, this rollout follows a year of development aimed at providing customers with an improved player experience.

TrueLayer highlighted that Zap’s move reflects a broader industry trend towards using bank-based payments to offer better user experiences and reduce payment costs. Zap, along with TrueLayer and DNA Payments, remains committed to delivering solutions tailored to the needs and preferences of UK site owners and users.
