Envestnet has reached a definitive agreement with STG to sell its Yodlee subsidiary, an open finance and data analytics company. This transaction is expected to close in Q3 2025, subject to usual closing conditions.

Following the divestiture, Yodlee aims to enhance its growth trajectory under STG’s management while continuing to cater to customer needs and regulatory requirements. The move is anticipated to streamline operations for both parties, allowing Envestnet to concentrate on its core wealth management platform and deliver more comprehensive solutions.

STG plans to integrate Yodlee into its expanding technology portfolio, which includes businesses like RSA, Trellix, and SurveyMonkey. By leveraging STG’s expertise, Yodlee intends to boost its technological capabilities, attract talent, and improve overall business performance. Both entities will focus on customer-centric development and rapidly invest in secure solutions for the financial sector.

Post-transaction, Yodlee is poised to achieve greater operational flexibility, accelerate product launches, and capitalize on market opportunities. With strengthened resources and a streamlined operation, it aims to deliver swift and secure solutions within the open finance ecosystem. This strategic move will enable advisors to maintain access to data aggregation technology, supporting their business development strategies.
